Growing up, I had the opportunity to be exposed to dentistry at an early age by spending time at my grandfather’s dental office. I was fascinated by the biology and science of the face and teeth and how they could be changed to make a big difference in patients’ lives. I also enjoyed watching the important relationships that were built between the patient and doctor and how much that mattered in the process.
It’s rewarding to be able to help children and adults feel better about themselves. I enjoy the artistry and craftsmanship involved in creating beautiful smiles and happy faces for all ages. It’s also exciting to work with all the new proven technologies because it affords so many benefits for my patients.
I really enjoy working with people. Anyone that knows me knows I am a talker. I share a lot, but I really want to hear about other people’s experiences and generally learn something new every day from those stories. These interactions often lead to fun and laughter, but sometimes can pull on the heartstrings, but both are important in relationship building. However, one of the best parts of my profession is to watch the transformation that occurs in someone who is embarrassed to smile and then after treatment begins giving the largest smile in the room — that is a great feeling and that is what I am here to do for you.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing pickle ball, golf, hiking and watching sports. I also love traveling and learning about new cultures and have been to many different parts of the world, including Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Australia is on the top of my travel bucket list.
